I am a PhD student in the Machine Learning Group, Department of Computer Science, University of Manchester. I graduated from the University of Glasgow and Harbin Engineering University. I was a member of the Heilongjiang Artificial Intelligence Federation (2018-2019, Harbin, China). My research is currently focusing on studies related to disentangled speech representation models. I also worked on Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Transformer-based models such as Large Language Models (LLM).
My research involves several aspects, including speech encoding, acoustic perception, information component analysis, disentangled representation designing, and interpretable machine learning theory. I am also interested in processing unstructured data and extracting structured information.
My research foundations include representation learning, information theory (especially mutual information), time series, unsupervised paradigms, contrastive learning, manifold theory, Gauss/Bayesian theory, neural networks, and more in the machine learning field.
