Overview

My PhD research centres on harnessing the power of digital health technologies to tackle and manage severe mental health problems. Through my work, I explore innovative ways to design and implement digital interventions that can provide effective support for individuals facing these challenges. One key objective of my research is to develop a culturally-relevant digital intervention tailored to the unique needs of people with psychosis in the Chinese context. By incorporating cultural considerations and adapting the intervention to local customs and beliefs, I aim to facilitate self-management and promote better mental health outcomes for affected individuals in China. A crucial aspect of my research involves investigating the attitudes and views of mental health professionals and people with severe mental health problems regarding digital mental health technologies in China. By understanding their perspectives, I can better tailor interventions to meet their needs and preferences.
