Biography

Xin holds a PhD in Industrial Economics from Nottingham University Business School and an MSc in International Business from Warwick Business School.

Her research interests lie primarily in applied microeconomics and business economics, with a particular focus on business strategy, intellectual property rights, and technological standards. She is particularly interested in examining how firms develop and implement strategic responses to competitive pressures, technological change, and policy interventions. Her work aims to shed light on the underlying determinants of strategic decision-making within firms and the broader implications for industrial organisation and market performance.
