Yanan Ma is a third-year PhD researcher in the Natural Language Processing and Text Mining group at the University of Manchester, under the supervision of Prof. Goran Nenadic, Dr. Sabine van der Veer, and Dr. Lamiece Hassan.
He is a recipient of the University of Manchester - China Scholarship Council joint scholarship. His research interests lie in large language models (with a current emphasis), natural language processing, text mining, and the semi-automated curation of knowledge from healthcare-related social media data.
