Overview

Ying Yang is a PhD researcher at Manchester Institution of Education. Her PhD project is looking at the role of education agents in China in the marketized international higher education sector. Her research interests include internationalisation of higher education, international students' motivations, mobilities and experiences, as well as international student recruitment. 

She has extensive professional experience in education agents and higher education in China respectively. Her previous work focuses on consultation services regarding students' applications to overseas programmes,  management of students’ affairs and development of students’ international experience.
