Overview
I am a hospital pharmacist by background and trained by clinical pharmacotherapy and medication management. I graduated from the pharmacy programme with a B.Pharm degree and was awarded an MSc in Chemistry and Biosciences thereafter.
From 2012, I worked as an oncology clinical pharmacist in hospital in China where I started to understand about pharmacoepidemiology and health economic study related to cancer care. During working in the hospital, I conducted and participated in several pharmacy practice research projects, including evaluating pharmaceutical care provision and monitoring adverse reactions for both outpatients and inpatients with cancer.
Since September 2018, I took a PhD programme jointly funded by the University of Manchester and the China Scholarship Council (CSC) and initiated the postgraduate research around health economic evaluation in cancer management focusing on the pharmacoepidemiology and health economic evaluation on older women with primary breast cancer.
