Personal profile

Overview

Yue (Mary) Ma is a post-doctoral research associate in the group of Dr. Christos Pliotas, focusing on the structural biology of membrane proteins, utilizing electron paramagnetic resonance spectroscopy (EPR) and electrophysiology. Yue developed expertise in EPR, particularly in the use of pulsed dipolar EPR methods applied to biological systems, during her PhD studies at the University of Leeds under Dr. Christos Pliotas. She is also experienced in cloning and membrane protein purification.
