Personal profile

Overview

I am a PhD student in Development Policy and Management at the Global Development Institute (GDI) at the University of Manchester. I started my studies in September 2021 and my research focuses on promoting innovation in the public sector, particularly in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region, specifically Bahrain. Right now, I am working on my dissertation titled ‘Developing Innovation Through Strategic Leadership Skills: The Case of the Public Sector of Kingdom of Bahrain’.

In my research, I aim to contribute to the advancement of strategic leadership practices that drive innovation and transformative change within governmental institutions, thereby catalysing sustainable development initiatives in Bahrain and beyond.
