Personal profile

Overview

My research interests encompass a diverse array of topics within the field of control systems and renewable energy. I specialize in optimal control theory, model predictive control, pseudo-spectral control, and wave prediction techniques, with applications to the development and optimization of offshore renewable energy systems.

My practical experience extends to conducting real-time control experiments and indoor wave basin tests. To date, I have actively contributed to two significant wave energy research projects:

  1. The Wave Energy Scotland Control Systems Project,  funded by Wave Energy Scotland, UK.

  2. The System-level Co-design and Control of Large Capacity Wave Energy Converters with Multiple PTOs project, which is funded by the EPSRC, UK.
