Zubida is based within the Centre for Applied Pharmacokinetic Research (CAPKR), a consortium of academic researchers at The University of Manchester and nine industrial pharmaceutical companies. CAPKR has a global reputation as a centre of excellence in training and research of pharmacokinetics. She gained experience over many years in quantitative translation of in vitro data to predict pharmacokinetic outcomes. She draws upon direct and collaborative research experiences with pharmaceutical industry and regulatory institutions to understand and address real-world practice and problems that can be addressed using combination of in vitro and in vivo research methodologies. In the recent years, Zubida developed the liquid biopsy technology by isolating exosomes from plasma, as a new type of liquid biopsy, have the potential to be diagnostic or prognostic biomarkers.
