Identifying Structural Change in Knee Osteoarthritis in Response to Vitamin D Therapy

  • Perry, Thomas (Recipient)

Prize: Prize (including medals and awards)

Description

Bone marrow lesions (BMLs) have been shown in observational and clinical studies to be associated with pain and structural progression in knee osteoarthritis (OA). By measuring BML volume over time, I aim to assess whether there is a treatment benefit to using vitamin D supplementation.
