    RPS Pharmacy Research UK award 2014. This prestigious award recognises an individual who has made a significant contribution to the field of pharmacy practice research and has the potential to become a leader in the field and was awarded in recognition of my research into prescription charges, and professional regulation and education. The award was presented at the RPS conference in Birmingham in September 2014, when I received a £1000 prize and delivered a 30 minute plenary lecture entitled ˜Research informed pharmacy policy and regulation: answers to big questions “ getting the detail right™
