Sumantra Ghoshal Award

Awarded by the Business Policy and Strategy Division of the (US) Academy of Management to Gerard P Hodgkinson and Mark P. Healey at the 2009 Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management (Chicago, IL), for their paper entitled, ‘Psychological foundations of dynamic capabilities: Reflexion and reflection in strategic management’. This prize is awarded to the best paper for the scholarly advancement of strategic management practice (circa 500 submissions). A revised version of this article appeared in Strategic Management Journal (Hodgkinson & Healey, 2011), one of just 9 pieces that were selected for inclusion from over almost 150 submissions in a special issue entitled ‘psychological foundations of strategic management’.
