The first Turing AI Fellowship call was led by The Alan Turing Institute and the first five Turing AI fellows were announced in October 2019. The Turing AI fellows are pioneering unique and exciting areas of research in the field of AI, from addressing the challenge of building a more sustainable aviation industry, to democratising safe and robust AI. These fellows have been appointed for five years, from a wide variety of disciplines.
