Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund has generously awarded £84,246 towards this project entitled ' A study to assess the feasibility of evaluating BRCAness in plasma and tumour samples from patients with advanced pancreatic adenocarcinoma' Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund is the national charity dedicated exclusively to supporting research to improve diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic cancer. Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund has three main objectives: To raise funds for research into early detection, new treatments and ultimately a cure for pancreatic cancer To encourage more of the research community to get involved in pancreatic cancer research To promote the need for more research funding by the major cancer research funding organisations To date, Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund has supported 52 research projects with grants totalling £8.1 million - all through fundraising and donations.
