Project Details

Description

The Arthritis Research UK Centre for Excellence in Epidemiology is a unique research institution internationally, in terms of our major focus on understanding the epidemiology of musculoskeletal disorders.

Our research is diverse and multidisciplinary, addressing environmental risk factors and their interaction with genetic risk factors for the development and outcome of musculoskeletal conditions.

We address clinically important questions in musculoskeletal disease that require a robust epidemiological approach. Our areas of research focus include the occurrence and progression of disease, the effectiveness and safety of treatment, and the impact of disease and treatment on quality of life.
