Description
The Basins Group is undertaking research into a variety of sedimentary environments and their stratigraphy, understanding key controls and mechanisms such as climate, tectonics and improving regional/local correlation techniques. The research has impact for exploration and development of accumulations of hydrocarbons, minerals and groundwater. Our research incorporates all aspects of sedimentary geology and the associated basin systems.
