The main aim of the study was to understand and clarify how professionalism is learned, cultivated and facilitated in the academic environment.

By exploring notions of professionalism with pharmacy students, the authors aimed to define the nature of professionalism in pharmacy and shed light on the ways that the teaching of the topic is transferred into practice settings.
