Suicide in the deaf community: a literature review

Description

The purpose of this study was to establish the prevalence of and risk factors for suicidal behaviour in the deaf population by reviewing previous literature in the field. The study was carried out in collaboration with Sign (the National Society for Mental Health and Deafness) and funded by the Big Lottery Fund.

The findings of the study have been published in a paper in the Annals of General Psychiatry.
