Project Details

Description

Fat grafting is a surgical technique with poor long-term outcomes. Fat graft survival and durability are highly unpredictable due to significant resorption of the grafted fat, which results in loss of volume to the critical area. This research project funded by the Scar Free Foundation aims to examine the role of adipose-derived stem cells (ASC) on the viability of fat grafts.
