    Tyndall Manchester is a vibrant and committed research community that brings together scientists, engineers, social scientists and economists.

    We are part of the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research, which has applied its unique interdisciplinary expertise to produce academically robust and policy-relevant research since 2000.

    As one of the core Tyndall partners, our researchers at Tyndall Manchester produce world-class agenda-setting research on Energy systems, Carbon budgets and pathways, the Water energy food nexus, Communities, and Circular economy.

    We have capabilities covering a wide range of climate change mitigation and adaptation issues and undertake external consultancy projects as well as academic collaborations. We also offer postgraduate supervision and other opportunities for early career researchers.
