16 days of Activism to end Gender-Based-Violence and the Parental Alienation Hoax

Research output: Other contribution

Abstract

The United Nations have denounced 'Parental Alienation' as a 'regressive-pseudo-theory' and it has been banned for use in several European countries. The belief system of PA has a dark, pro-paedophilic history and was arguably designed to protect abusive fathers from child sexual abuse allegations. However, allegations of 'Parental Alienation' are now being used as a legal strategy across the globe to silence women and children who report any abuse and to DARVO these victim-survivors (Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim (and) Offender), by claiming the mother and child are lying about the abuse they report. Parental Alienation is a hoax designed to protect abusive fathers from allegations and its use in court rooms across the globe is statistically resulting in safe mothers losing custody of their children, with children's residency being transferred to the abusive father. This heinous form of post-separation abuse and gender-based violence must be stopped. We use the 16 days of Activism to highlight this abuse and to call upon others to join us in denouncing the Parental Alienation Hoax.
