Abstract

A Hopeful Day has been produced as part of ‘Organisations of Hope’, a research project exploring creative health in Greater Manchester.
The booklet is divided up into 3 sections and introduces the themes of the project in different ways. In section 1, you can find out about the aims of the research project and read an overview of some key themes. In section 2, you can read a poem about the research project written by Salma Khalid and inspired by the Deeplish CommunityCentre Zinda Dil group. In section 3, you can read a short story written by Nicola Schofield and illustrated by Cara Looij. The story reflects some of thethemes of the research. It tells the story of two fictional characters inspired by creative health mapping workshops with community and school groups.
