Abstract

[Formula presented]After completing his undergraduate degree at Sheffield Hallam University, during which he undertook extended research projects with Prof. Joseph Harrity (the University of Sheffield) and Prof. Kilian Muñiz (Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia), Matt joined the lab of Prof. Igor Larrosa at the University of Manchester. His research focuses on the development of C _sp ²–C _sp ³ bond-forming reactions by ruthenium-catalyzed C–H activation. Outside of chemistry, Matt is a fan of sports and follows football, rugby, and cricket.
