N2 - In light of the increasing environmental challenges and the need for sustainable and circular practices, the adoption of low-carbon technologies (LCTs) is vital. To achieve this transition, it is essential to train a skilled workforce in LCTs aligned with sustainability and circularity principles. This paper investigates the knowledge gaps and discusses emerging trends in this area through bibliometric analysis. This is followed by a systematic roadmap, which aims to facilitate widespread adoption of LCTs through curriculum and faculty development, infrastructure and laboratory investment, industry partnerships and policy engagement. This work contributes valuable insights to the discourse surrounding the broader adoption of LCTs while upholding the principles of sustainability and circularity.
