Abstract

This report describes a scoping study of research and development needs with regard to emergency planning and management in health care. It provides a state of the art review, drawing on learning and experiences from local, regional, national and international contexts. The main aim is to identify areas for research, but it also identifies aspects of good practice that can be shared.
