    Abstract

    The appts. includes two sets of gas sensors (10,12) producing electrical output for detection purposes incorporated into a differential measurement arrangement. The arrangement monitors changes in the ratio of an electrical property of the two sets of sensors.The two sets of gas sensors are incorporated into separate arms of a Wheatstone bridge type arrangement. The gas sensors have semiconducting organic polymer. A DC electrical supply is applied across the gas sensors, and the change in the ratio of resistances of the two gas sensors is monitored.USE - Relates to Wheatstone bridge type arrangements for gas sensors.ADVANTAGE - Has increased sensitivity.
