Trust is defined as quot;the extent to which a person is confident in, and willing to act on the basis of, the words, actions and decisions of another" [4]. It has been cited as the crucial spect in virtual team development and effectiveness and has also been directly linked to virtual team efficiency, collaboration and performance [2] [3] [6]. This poster describes a questionnaire study into the types of information that most effectively build trust in the virtual team.
