Abstract
Software components are deployed into an execution environment before runtime. The execution environment influences the runtime execution of a component. Therefore, it is important to study existing execution environments for components and learn how they influence components' runtime execution. In this paper, we undertake such a study. We show that deploying components into different execution environments may incur runtime conflicts, which, however, can be detected before runtime. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2007.
