Abstract
In this report, we present a range of institutional and structural barriers and biases that prevent disabled researchers within STEMM community from applying and obtaining research funding. We identify direct barriers for each stage of the research funding process and indirect barriers due to existing structures within institutions, research councils and unconscious bias. Finally, we present suggested actions that could be taken to ensure accessibility in STEM research funding.
