Introduction
John Adair’s Action centred Leadership (ACL) is widely successful and recognised in leadership. Since its inception however, there appears to be little, if any scholarly work exploring this leadership phenomenon. This chapter provides a timely and rare addition to the leadership field, by exploring this gap. It embarks upon a brief review of the literature pertaining to ACL, followed by a theoretical analysis of ACL in the globalising context.
