Abstract
Functional wearable e-textile has high technology and shows widely potential application, attract numerous interests of fashion designer, costumers, venture capitals and scientists. Specifically, they are products where intelligent devices are integrated into fabrics and clothing and are expected to be high integrate, flexible, lightweight, comfortable, and aesthetic. However, there are still some research gaps of academy and technology, and we critically review the advancement of conductive materials, fabrication and integration technology, as well as input and output devices to tackle with these problems. In addition, this review discusses the limitations of current materials, fabrication techniques, devices manufacturability and performance, and finally provide our outlook over the field and a prediction for the future, especially the attractable prospects in graphene and hybrid conductive materials.
