Abstract

Since its discovery in the early 1960's aflatoxin has been extensively investigated. Amany aspects of h=its biological significance are well understood and its ole in carcinogenicity partly clarified. Less attention has been paid to its other clinical effects in humans. This review seeks to redress that balance.
