Abstract
This paper is concerned with modeling and analysis of the carrier-sense multiple-access protocol implemented in integrated environment. A unified recursive technique for modeling different CSMA versions in such environments, under the Poisson assumption for the aggregate input traffic, is presented. The througput and delay performance is evaluated. The analytical results are compared with simulation and excellent matches can be recognized.
