Abstract

Bioethics investigates ethical issues arising in the life sciences (medicine, health care, genetics, biology, research and so on) by applying the principles of Moral Philosophy (chapter 6) to these problems. Medical ethics and genethics (ethical issues arising from the discipline of genetics) are subsets of bioethics.
