Abstract

The idea of using Ketso as an engagement tool arose as part of the work of a community health co-ordinator working in the Merkinch area in Inverness. A range of individuals, services and organisations identified that Ketso had the potential to be used as a participatory appraisal tool as part of their working practice at a local networking event. In response to this recognition, several Ketso kits were purchased as a shared resource, and a training day for the local network, as well as other organisations working in similar fields in nearby areas in the Highlands, was organised. Twenty-eight participants from a range of organisations working in health and wellbeing, employability and community development attended a one-day training in facilitation with Ketso. As part of the training, participants worked in teams to discuss building and sustaining strong partnerships, and it is the data from this exercise that is presented in this report, with a brief summary of feedback on Ketso from the participants at the end of the report.
