Abstract

The paper describes the development of a new quality training resource by the UK STEPS (Statistical Education through Problem Solving) consortium. The module - based on the state-of-the-art TOOLBOOK authoring language and the MINITAB statistics package - focusses primarily on variables charts. A new adaptable World Wide Web version of the courseware offers the prospect of powerful dedicated on-line training.
