Abstract
Determination of the cardiac axis on a 12-lead electrocardiogram (ECG) is considered a core element of basic ECG interpretation, but is also the area that many find the most complex when they are introduced to reading and interpreting ECGs. Alan Davies examines some of the methods of determining axis that can be used in the clinical environment.
