Abstract
U.S. construction industry contractors are worry about their future in the still-unstable country. Facing fear of insurgents and often muzzled by government managers, contractors are reluctant to talk openly. Contractors note difficulty in bringing material and equipment into the country. Firms claim that with the risks ahead, they will be staying away from fixed-price contracts.
