Abstract

There is a commercial demand for a robust, simple and efficient method for accurately determining the activity concentration of 129I in various environmental and nuclear decommissioning samples. A need for a method that could analyse for 129I by liquid scintillation counting was identified and the development and improvement of a current method for the determination of 129I are described.
