Abstract
Despite the many benefits associated with home haemodialysis, in-centre dialysis is considered the mainstay of treatment for renal disease. Sandip Mitra and Anuradha Jayanti explore the revival of home haemodialysis in the UK and recommend areas for the future study of this modality based on clinical outcomes, technique failure, quality of life measures and cost-effectiveness.
