Abstract

There is an increasing focus on cognitive impairment (CI) and how it impacts on patient care. James Tollitt et al provide a comprehensive analysis of the evidence for CI in advanced chronic kidney disease (CKD), peritoneal dialysis patients, haemodialysis patients, and patients who undergo renal transplantation. The authors also describe the clinical utility of diagnosing CI in patients with CKD.
