    Abstract

To comparison physiological responses of Southern China and Nara inhabitant with/without UV blocking fabric protection under the solar exposure, an experiment was designed to investigate the cutaneous and immunological response under with and without UV blocking fabric protection. Results demonstrated that latitude of subject has significant association with change of white blood cell and melanin content before and after solar exposure. Protection of fabric (UPF value) has significant association with change of melanin content before and after solar exposure. Protection of fabric (UPF value) has significant association with erythem level after solar exposure, while latitude of subject has no significant association with white blood cell, melanin content and erythem level.
