Abstract
The development of computer-based learning (CBL) aids has been under way in UMIST's Department of Management Sciences for several years now. Recent work has focussed on the provision of CBL materials for use on undergraduate courses in Mathematics and Accountancy. These supplement packages that already exist for a variety of courses ranging from Psychology to Operations Research. The computer is also used to support the teaching of postgraduate and post-experience students. Indeed, many of the facilities currently available to these students have been provided by former research students and are playing an increasingly important role in the Department's vocational courses.
