Abstract
This essay presents an analysis of the continuities of Sexual-PoliticalViolence (SPV) by the state during the present period of struggle andresistance in Chile and Argentina, particularly on the 2019 Chilean riots, from a Critical Feminist Epistemology approach. SPV was systematicallycommitted against women and LGBTIQ+ activists during the 70s and 80sChilean and Argentinian dictatorships, which has been reactivated duringthe current protest cycle in the region. Thus, the development of the notionof PSV both by political activity by women who survived the dictatorshipand current feminist’s groups has been key to address and re-signify stateterrorism, consistently present in the Chilean revolt.
