Abstract

The authors regret that the equation plotted in Fig. 5 incorrect. The equation wrongly displayed in Fig. 5 corresponded to a linear correlation only based on the Rouse number ([Formula presented]) and does not including the influence of the hiding/exposure effect of saltation transport ([Formula presented]), as discussed in the manuscript text. The equation plotted in Fig. 5 should be [Formula presented] with a [Formula presented] value of 0.817. An updated version of Fig. 5 with the correct equation is displayed below. The authors would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
