Abstract
The 'lapines' of Ravensbruck were young Polish inmates of this concentration camp submitted to medical experiments on bone gangrene. French inmates of the camps, all Resistance fighters, swore to support the survivors. In their association, the ADIR, they lobbied constantly from 1951 the German Government in order to get pensions for the survivors. This article describes their endless effort over 17 years, leading to a very modern PR campaign in the United States. Those efforts proved only partly sucessful.
