Abstract

A series of images and films produced as part of a project informally called DeafCam South Africa. Young Deaf people from ages 8 to 20 utilize their visual knowledge to explore and engage with important questions around Resilience and other topics relevant to their life and future.

Here you see a representation of Deaf Lifeworlds as seen through the eyes of young people from 6 schools for the deaf in Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal.
