    Abstract

Recently, there has been a resurgence of interest in asynchronous design techniques. The research activity in this area has pointed to the need for suitable techniques for modelling and simulating asynchronous systems. The occam programming language allows the rapid development of parallel simulation models of asynchronous systems but its distributed nature introduces time modelling problems. This paper presents an approach for dealing with these problems.
