Abstract

Notes Pendov v Bulgaria (44229/11) (ECtHR) on whether the seizure and retention of the applicant's server by police in the context of a criminal investigation against third parties breached his rights under ECHR Protocol 1 art.1, and his right to freedom of expression under ECHR art.10. Discusses the competing issues to be balanced by the authorities in such situations.
